Made appointment with John 2 months before travel. He made it simple and direct with reasonable price. As soon as arrived there was a person at the exit waiting for us, we waited for 3 mins and the driver was there. requested to the driver to recommend a place for lunch, he took to a beautiful view simple shop at kamala beach, waited for us until we were done , jus additional small fee for waiting. we booked an english speaking day tour to big buddha n few places the next day, big shout out to Nat, she was very accommodating , made us feel very comfortable and easy throughout the tour. she even recommended few other places even when we were done with her tour. we even took the island hopping package from John, very professionally done from royal phuket marina. everything went well, had no worry when i arranged my transport with John, Thank you again John n Nat

John and Michelle was so amazing, the way they accommodated us made my friends and I truly feel like he cared and took his job seriously. His professionalism was impeccable. He took us all over Phuket and was able to book tours through him. He really took care of us. Many thanks to John and Nat. They got us to Phuket Elephant Sanctuary on time. And after our morning with the elephants Nat was there to drive us to Wat Chalot temple, Big Buddha and back to our hotel. Both vehicles had aircon and were very clean and comfortable. Nat is safe and considerate on the roads, made some great visit suggestions, explained what we were about to see, and guided us through Buddhist traditions and was great company. We had a really enjoyable and informative day. Simply the best driver guides.

First and foremost, thank you to John and team for the transportation and tours provided. My family of four first started first with John for a day tour only. But since the service was very good, we decided also to engage him for the island hopping tour and the last day airport transfer as well. In hindsight, we should have engaged him from the very beginnning and made use of his service from the time we landed. His drivers are courteous and flexible, makes you feel welcomed all the time. The vans used are clean and comfortable. It was a pleasure dealing and making arrangements with John via WhatsApp, and he checks on you throughout the day you have engaged his services, starting always with a Good Morning first thing in the morning.

We used John’s services several times during our recent trip to Thailand on the Phuket leg of the journey. John was really helpful, reliable and informative. We have just come back from Phuket and we have such a wonderful memories thanks to John. From airport pick up and drop off,to city tour,island hopping with private boat and with group,every experience was lovely and memorable. During our stay John became our friend,he is honest and hardworking person that will give you precious advice and do above and beyond to make your stay lovely. We were very ambitious to see as much as we could but John fully organized our visit so that we don’t end up tired and he was absolutely right! Our large group of 16 was highly impressed with the service that John provided. The vehicles were clean, spacious and well air conditioned. We did airport transfers and a day tour of parts of Phuket. Knowing the local conditions, John gave good recommendations and ensured we made it to our bookings on time. We decided on Elephant Sanctuary, James Bond and surrounding islands by big boat and a private speedboat tour of phi phi islands. All had private transfer and the tour guides were fantastic. Particularly Bye who took us by canoe into the caves on the James Bond island tour and Chris who was our guide on the speed boat and around the phi phi islands. Phongsak was our driver and we had a really great time! He helped us arrange our itinerary accordingly and even recommended places for us to see. The lunch place he brought us to was super good and the Naka Market which he recommended to us was also good! John was also very nice and helped accommodate our request too at the last minute. Would definitely use their service again on our next trip!

We used John and his team for airport transfers and local tours. His drivers were all very safe and cautious, vans were clean and comfortable, pricing was good, and allowing tailoring of each tour/taxi service was great as we could spend as much or little time on each stop as we wanted. Nat in particular, was a great driver and provided good customer service.

John worked with us via ‘WhatsApp’ to create the perfect 6 hour Phuket list of ‘Must see’s’. Then Alek arrived on time and was an excellent driver. Safe and cautious at all times. He went above and beyond to make our day fantastic! He timed everything to provide the best views, sunsets and beaches. I highly recommend Phuket101 over any other tour operator. You can build your own itinerary, spend as much time as you want at each location, and eat/drink when you like. No time pressure.

While we contacted John for the trip, his reply was super fast and very helpful. Since he can speak good English we thought we had him as a driver. But the next day we found out is someone else who is less good English speaking, we wasn’t happy about it. If you will assign someone else should inform your guest earlier! The driver didn’t talk to us too much, but he gave decent service. His job just drive us and drop off, honestly zero explaination. If John bring us around definitely our trip will be better. Hope the team could take note on this

We booked two transfer with John. I highly recommend his services. The price was great. The driver was on time, polite and friendly. We changed pick up times with no worries and John’s replies were very quick and always ok.

I can only say that John handled the arrangements for my trip with professionalism and very good service. Even when there were last minute changes to our plans, he still sorted everything out for us to ensure we had a good holiday. The driver assigned to us for our airport transfer and city tour, Nas, was polite, friendly and patient, even when I confused him a few times as his understanding of English was adequate but not fluent. John and his wife were lovely! They were kind, made sure to get good deals for us with any ticketed events. Better than what Viator offers. Van was always on time for each event. And drivers will stop traffic for you if it is a busy road. Vans were always clean and I always felt safe with my kids. Fully recommend!

1) John seems to be so busy, hired team. 2) We arrived and exited airport timely, about 30 minutes after scheduled flight arrival time. 3) sign was spotted, but was some team member 4) waited 10 minutes for car. 5) commented “pretty inefficient, waiting 10 minutes for driver who should be here” 6) took picture of us with sign and our name to document pickup for John. 7) driver wanted to take picture of us while driving in car, seemed odd and pulled out of picture as said seemed odd why wants our picture again. 8) next week, ask for pick up and said no since we complained about his good service. Can’t attached screenshot here, but feels best to send business elsewhere. Support other businesses that more stream.

John& Michelle are the best. From arrival to departure and every change in between. Michelle arranged great local SIM cards for us all and installed them in our phones to make sure they were all working. They stopped at a money changer on the way from the airport to get us a great local rate. They organised our transfers to/from Phi Phi including boat transfers. Trips to water parks. The most amazing thing was he’d ring every morning to say hello, asked if we were ok and did we need anything that day. Even after I got COVID he would call to make sure I was alright and would make sure my wife could still do things and my daughters (18+) were still taken care of. He even got the driver to take a detour to the airport so he could personally say farewell to my daughter and her friend. No… John is not a driver, he’s a lifelong friend & I look forward to catching up again next time. All my friends who travel to Phuket will have him friended in Facebook & WhatsApp as the go to person for everything in Phuket.

We arranged with John for a pick up service from Phuket airport to Kamala, John promptly replied and gave very assuring responses to help us answer any queries we have. When we were at kamala, we contacted John again to have him bring us around for a day trip around phuket. John recommended a very enjoyable itinerary which included Atv to big Buddha, shooting range, go-kart, visit to Naka market, delicious meals and always do his utmost to answer any questions we had. We had a amazing trip to krabi and phuket. We were a group of 13, including an infant. We travelled from phuket Airport to krabi and back to phuket. He personally came to receive us. Ensured that the bus had big ice box filled with chilled water bottles. All land transport was provided by John, whom I cordinated from India. John speaks good English and has good connect in near by cities. He helped in arranging our phi phi Island tour. His rates are reasonable and he is trustworthy person with a big heart.

John speaks good English, clarifies all questions accurately. We had my mother travelling with us who has knee pain issues the service provided by John and his team ensured we had a smooth trip. The prices provided by John are reasonable and you don’t have to worry about being cheated.

It was our first time in Phuket Thailand and naturally with all the covid/travel restrictions it’s already stressful to travel. We needed to arrange transport from the airport to our SHA+ Hotel (at the time it was still needed). Firstly we found “PHUKET 101” which on its own is a treasure with all the information you will need, this site is friggen fabulous! Here we found JOHN WELCOME our second treasure! After getting in contact, he immediately phoned me from Phuket (even with a 5hr time difference) and made the arrangements. Already I feel like I have someone in my corner in a foreign country. But John wasn’t just a transport organiser, he is a one-stop travel GENIE, he helped us with any questions or queries we had. He organised trips and Excursions, we wanted a private catamaran trip- DONE, we wanted deep sea fishing – DONE. He arranged a full day of sightseeing with one of his drivers called “Crab”. We could whatsapp John any time and ask a stupid question like “where can I dry-clean my clothes so it’s cheaper than the hotel”. It’s easy to talk to John, he literally feels like your new best friend! John is funny, loves making jokes, helpful and just an all-round Fabulous human being. One of my favourite moments where at the end of our trip, when we were on our way to the Airport, John arranged with his driver to meet us along the way.. and we all had a final beer before saying good bye to our new friends! I can highly recommend John for all your travel needs. JUST DO IT!!! Or as John would say “Hundred percent”

Me and my friends came to phuket not knowing what to do and not having any activities planned. However, John was very patient and we had all our activities recommended by him and we all had fun. His food recommendations are even better as there was not a single meal we were dissapointed by, highly recommended and would contact him again the next time i come to phuket

I can’t say enough about John/Michelle. My husband and I were nervous about going to a foreign country, not knowing anyone and not knowing the language. With John, those concerns disappeared. I can tell you from not having our luggage, to my husband losing his credit cards at an ATM, to not being advised we needed a COVID test until we arrived at the airport to return home. HE HANDLED IT. Additionally, he is relentless sbout communication, accountability and literally had his staff take our pictures then spoke to us to ensure things were good and we we’re happy. It was like having a family member taking care of us. WHEN/IF we return, John will be our contact. He arranged Tiger kingdom, elephant sanctuary, phi phi island, coral island and temple tours along with some very local experiences like buying seafood in Rawaii and having it cooked in the adjoining restaurants. Could NOT have been fresher. What an experience.

John was on time to pick my family and I up from the airport, and truly exemplified the true Thai hospitality spirit. Reached Phuket on May 06 as a group of 12 members. Mr John and his wife welcomed us. We requested one minivan. He suspected more luggage and kept another minivan on standby (that was a smart move). It turned out that we needed two vehicles because of the luggage. On day 2 he arranged a beautiful tour to phi phi Island in a private speedboat. For the rest of the days he are so kind to accept our request for a vehicle on short notice. He provided the best service and reasonable price point. Keep up the great work John n team

We planned a short day to spend in Phuket, but our driver made it more special. Guiding with local knowledge really helped to understand how Thai people live. It was a nice culture learning experience. I would happily recommend this service if you need the flexibility and the joy this team can offer.

We arranged our driver, Crab, through John Welcome. He was friendly, responsible, and very accommodating. The drive went very smoothly, and he was able to accurately estimate the journey times between locations. We had dinner reservations at 6 and he got us there at exactly 6. I would definitely use Crab and John Welcome again.

A van for 8hours in Phuket. Only 2 of us. Chet picked us up at the Marriott Beach Club and made stops at Big Buhdda, the temples, old town, a place for lunch, weekend street fair and a Thai massage place before dropping us back at our hotel. It was a very good day.

Prior to our arrival to Phuket we contact John Welcome through Whatsapp , we had an immediate response and he arrange our pick up from the airport to the hotel. The day after we booked a private taxi service for a sightseeing tour around the city and transfer to another Hotel. The service was excellent. The driver was on time and everything run smoothly during the tour. Also, John provide us a list of the best sightseeing, tours and activities around the city, which was very helpful. I had a free day in Phuket and found out about Samet Nangshe from this website and also about John Welcome so reached out and was able to sort out a car and driver for the very next day – scored! John was very responsive and we were able to organise quickly and professionally through WhatsApp as I was sitting on Karon beach. My driver Chet turned up on time and had plenty of cold towels and water for the day. He spoke English very well and was used to dealing with foreigners. We went out to Phang Nga to see the reclining Buddha and then out to the Samet Nansghe viewpoint. What a magical spot and Chet made sure I was looked after and even took some photos for me. As I had some time on the return leg, I asked Chet for an authentic experience for lunch. He ended up taking me to a floating restaurant in the middle of the bay near Coconut Island. I saw my lunch swimming in the sea water trap and then beautifully cooked. I was able to enjoy a yellow southern curry with fish, fried fish with crispy garlic and tamarind prawns. Each dish was fresh, well cooked and beautifully presented. Paired with a long neck of Chang, I was able to chill and enjoy the gentle motion of being in the middle of a calm bay with not too many people around. A fantastic experience via Chet !! A few days later, I needed to transfer from my hotel in Phuket Town to my hotel in Ao Nang Krabi. A few short messages to John and it was organised and again Chet promptly arrived to take me seamlessly from Phuket through beautiful Phang Nga and into the remote and beautiful entrance to Ao Nang. I will be recommending John Welcome to any visitor to Phuket and will certainly approach John again on my next trip back to Phuket ! 5 star service all round. @khoistar

John was punctual and a pleasure to deal with..it helped that he can speak English well. He transferred us from the airport to our hotel and back and he looked after us for a day with a van and driver who took us to all the beaches we wantws to see. My wife and I got married in Phuket. We first arranged our wedding day transportation with John. We then added speedboat tour to Phi Phi island for our entire wedding group. We used John for random taxi pickup and drop offs. He took care of my wife and her bachelorette party. He stayed with them past 2 am to make sure they were safe. Normally I don’t really write reviews but John deserves one. Before going to phuket, I knew the city was full of drivers who would overcharge. So I googled in advance and found John with good ratings. Asked him for the price based on hours. He was always very easy to contact, responsive and on time. I found John Welcome through Phuket 101 and what a great find it was. John made our stay in Phuket an experience of a lifetime. He was waiting for us at the airport with a big smile and a welcome sign and immediately took care of business, seating us in his extremely comfortable van while he placed our bags in the back. I had no problem contacting him after whenever we needed transportation for dinner. Even on the days he couldn’t make it himself because of a late notice from us, he would send great drivers who were as competent and helpful as him. We had him take us on a daylong tour of Phuket with many stops including elephants, ATV and tiger kingdom. At sunset he took us to a magnificent spot where we had an amazing unforgettable sunset. After that he took us to his choice of a restaurant which turned out to be the best meal we had while in Phuket. John is very easy to get along with, very humble, informative and helpful.
